DJ Ironlung started listening to drum and bass back in the old tape pack era when he was 13 years old and soon got the bug. By the age of 15 he had saved up enough money to buy his first set of decks and then after a few more years he started producing.

6 years later after giving up his time as a sound engineer for local charity band nights and teaching music at local youth centres he started playing regularly on local pirate radio.

​

Ironlung also started running a successful drum and bass night monthly in gravesend hosting the likes of Sweet Tooth Records, Logan D, Modified Motion, Eksman,  Herbzie, Guv and many more which continued for over 3 years.

​

The last 4 years he has been concentrating on production and djing which has taken him all around the UK and Europe giving him a residency at the award winning NEXT HYPE nights and guest shows for Overload and the Harry Shotta show on rough tempo radio.

​

In 2016 DJ Ironlung started his digital record label Cell Recordings with a forthcoming EP from himself and future releases from other artists coming soon. Catch DJ Ironlung on his Bi weekly CR8DNB radio show.
